The Florida Forest Festival was held in Perry,
Florida on Friday, October 23rd & Saturday, October 24th. The Florida Forestry State Queens & U.S. National Forestry
Queens, along with the Division of Georgia/Florida Houston County "Hall of Fame" Recipient Heather-Ann Coleman were the
Honored Guest of Mr. Erin Albury, Chief Forest Ranger & Janet McCall, Forest Ranger at this year's event. The Queens participated in
the Children's Parade & Gaslight Parade on Friday, October 23rd from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. They signed autographs &
took pictures with all the spectators. All the Queens and their Family had dinner and fellowshipped at the Golden Corral.
The Queens were invited to the Dignitary Breakfast Reception held by the GFWC-FFWC Perry Woman's Club and took photos with
the Miss & Little Miss Suwannee Valley Queens & Congressman Alan Boyd. They rode in the Big King Tree Parade
and was Introduced on the Main Stage. The Queens spent the day at the Festival watching different events, playing games, eating
& riding rides.
